Marketing
We strive to offer you choices regarding the use of your personal data, especially when it comes to marketing and advertising.
Promotional Offers
We may use your identity, contact, technical, usage, and profile data to create a picture of what we think you may want, need, or find interesting. This is how we determine which products, services, and offers may be relevant to you.
You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us, participated in events or courses organized by us, or provided your data when entering a competition or registering for a promotion—and in each case, if you have not withdrawn your consent.
Choices
You may request that we stop sending you marketing messages at any time by emailing us at [email protected] or by unsubscribing via the UNSUBSCRIBE link in the newsletter.
If you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, we may still process your personal data on another legal basis, in cases where we have at least two legal grounds for processing personal data.
Purpose Change
We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another purpose and that the purpose is compatible with the original one. If you would like an explanation as to how processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us.
If we need to use your personal data for unrelated purposes, we will notify you and explain the legal basis that allows us to do so.
Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.
Disclosure of Personal Data
We may share your personal data with the parties listed below for the purposes set out in the table in section 4 above.
- Internal third parties, as defined in the [Glossary].
- External third parties, as defined in the [Glossary].
- Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change in our business occurs, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy notice.
We require all collaborators and partners to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our collaborators to use your personal data for their own purposes. They may only process your personal data upon our instruction and only for the purposes we have specified.
Data Security
We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a legitimate business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulatory authority of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
Data Retention
How long we keep your personal data
We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including to meet any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means.
